About Me
tripp j crouse (they/them/she/her) is Two Spirit Ojibwe, a matrilineal descendent of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. they grew up in Illinois, but moved to Iowa and later Alaska. tripp worked in print and digital journalism for more than 20 years before becoming a communications specialist for a non-profit in Juneau, Alaska. They are a poet, writer, artist, photographer, sculptor, and more. their poetry as appeared or is forthcoming in Zygote in My Coffee, The Yellow Medicine Review, oddball magazine, beestung, Words & Whispers and Rising Phoenix Review. Their non-fiction has appeared in High Country News, Grist, and Other magazine.
