Human leg found near Juneau's Sandy beach

It's been a busy few days for me lately. I just got back from working in Petersburg, Alaska, and two spot news stories sort of fall into my lap.

The first one was a Juneau Police Department news release stating that Alaska Department Fish and Game had uncovered a human leg and boot in their debris cleanup of Gastineau Channel near Sandy Beach.
